Ultra Europe is taking you back to Croatia for the fifth edition of the ultimate summer festival experience! Ultra Europe festival brings the top DJs in the EDM scene to Poljud Stadium in one of the most beautiful cities at the Adriatic. To top it all there are Ultrabeach events which add some sun and sand to the perfect music experience. Make sure not to miss this amazing party next summer!

How do you get to Split/Hvar? Which airports and airlines should you use? Taxi, rent-a-car, bus, train, ferry...? What are the prices? We did our best to collect all the info in one place for you. Check it out here or send us an enquiry to transferme@partytraveller.com.


To Split by:

By car

If you are coming to ULTRA Festival by car, you can go via Zagreb and take the main Croatian highway A1, or go along the Croatian coastline, from Rijeka to Split. To reach Hvar, you must first get to Split or Drvenik, and then take a ferry to Hvar.

By plane

Four airports in Croatia are suitable for coming to ULTRA Festival. Split airport is the closest to Split and Hvar, and might be the best choice. Other airports are Zagreb, Dubrovnik and Zadar. For more info about the flight schedule, follow the above links.

By bus

All towns in Croatia are well connected by bus lines, and there are regular international lines connecting Croatia with all neighbouring countries, as well as most other European countries. Reach Split first, and then take a ferry to Hvar.

By train

It is quite simple to reach Split by train from almost any country in Europe. Trains from Zagreb to Split and back run three times a day, and this might be a good solution because prices are quite affordable and Split railway station is just opposite Split ferry port where you can take a ferry to Hvar island.

By sea

You can reach Split by a coastal ferry line from Rijeka or Dubrovnik which departs twice a week and the journey from either Rijeka or Dubrovnik to Split takes around 12 hours.

There is also an international ferry from Ancona to Split which departs three times a week and the journey takes around 12 hours. Both routes are operated by Jadrolinija.

Blue Line Ferries and Snav also offer transfers from Ancona to Split. For more info, follow the links.

From Split, you can take one of the three ferry lines to the island of Hvar. Visit Jadrolinija website for details.

GETTING TO SPLIT:

A one way-ticket is 30 KN (about 4.50 EUR) and a two-way ticket is 40 KN (about 5.50eur). The ticket price includes the transport of baggage.

SPLIT AIRPORT – HVAR BY TAXI OR RENT-A-CAR
You can find a taxi just outside the main exit from the arrivals hall. The fare from the airport to Hvar is approximately 120 EUR for 4 people. For more information click here.

At the airport exit you can find a number of rent-a-car agencies. All info on these services can be found here or here.
Rent-a-car prices are about 30 EUR, depending on the type of vehicle you choose and the number of days you will be needing it.

From Zagreb airport to Split/Hvar

If you are planning to go to ULTRA via Zagreb Airport, here are your options.

First, look at the map of the airport. The best way to go from there to Split, is to book our transfer to ULTRA Festival, and we will take you directly to Split in approximately 4 hours. However, you can choose to go on your own, and here is how you will do it.

Here is the map explaining how to reach Zagreb Airport from city centre, and vice versa. Simply click your preferred destination (Central Train Station or Central Bus Station) and look for the timetable of the transportation you need. The airport is some 16 km away from the city centre, so the ride should not take more than half an hour, and the fare is quite affordable, a bus ride to the city centre costs around 4 euros. You should have a look at the map of the terminal, it might save you some time.

A one-way bus ticket from Zagreb to Split costs between 150 and 205 kn (20 - 27 euros), depending on the transportation company, and the ride takes around 5 hours.

There are several train departures from Zagreb to Split, the ride takes around 6 hours, and the price of a one-way ticket is around 200 kn (26 euros).

And, in the end, you need to take a ferry from Split to Hvar.

If you don't fancy going through all this trouble, and prefer going directly to ULTRA Festival, Party Traveller will transfer you from Zagreb airport directly to Split check in point. For more info, click here.

You can find a taxi opposite from the International arrivals exit at Zadar airport.
You can find a taxi there every day from 6A.M. until 10P.M., or you can book one online here.
The price for a ride to Hvar is about 240 EUR for 1 - 4 people.
